Dear friends and followers,
It is with deep regret and sadness that I report that the audio archive has been lost. This was an unexpected mistake but one that we can learn to live with. It may be found again, but for right now most of the links to recordings on this site are no longer available. It was a good 18-year run that helped share the dharma with hundreds of thousands.
In the meantime, there is a wealth of content on the Plum Village YouTube and through the Plum Village App.
Your humble host.
Kenley
I have aprox. 70 files from 2010-2011 which I have downloaded. I’ll be happy to send them to you.

Thank you for letting me / us know. I’ve noticed in the last couple of days that I don’t get access to the recordings on tnhaudio. I assumed that it was something my end.
I listen most days and sometimes when I can’t get to sleep, I also find.Thay’s voice helpful. Some of them I listened to many times and absorbed their wisdom, deepening every time. I go into “keywords” and take a chance and and always learn something and difficult with my practice.
I’m sure you’re already trying, but I remain hopeful that a backup can be found somewhere and that it will be possible to hear them again.
Meanwhile may I think you and everyone for their efforts in having put together and maintained this is valuable archived for so long.
That is the problem with digital media along with ever changing protocols. Too bad it wasn’t preserved on analog media.
It’ll be a disappointment if you’re unable to restore from backups. But it appears that some of the mp3 files (perhaps many) exist on the wayback machine, aka the internet archive. For example: https://web.archive.org/web/20250318210730/https://tnhaudio.org/2013/11/19/rebuilding-health/
Thank you for letting us know.
It’s sad news, but I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude. For people like myself, for whom English is a second language, your written summaries of Thay’s talks have been incredibly helpful over the years — as precious and nourishing as the recordings themselves.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for maintaining this platform and making the recordings available to so many people around the world.
Let me know if you need tech help with rebuilding this.
A great time to practice impermanence and letting go.
Dear Kenley, I’ve been going through the pages using the link at the bottom of the home page. Though there may be a delay, the audio files are playing using that tactic. I’ve only tried three pages so far. Sometimes I get the 0:00 time but after a short wait the full length of the audio has shown and begun to play. I’m going to check some addtional pages to see how deep I can go and still get audio. Bruce Nichols
Follow up from Bruce. All of the audios on the first 4 pages were playable. Time crunch right now so I can’t go further. I did try jumping to page 9 and did not get a response but did not wait too long. If the first audios are available on the first four pages, perhaps the others are too.
Bruce
Last comment… I’ve had to go through the pages in order (1,2,3,4….) to get the files to play. Could there be a corruption in the link structure that is creating the problem? Bruce
Dear friend,
I sincerely hope we find a way to recover most of these talks. In any case , please know that your kindness and diligence for sharing these gems have done wonders in my life.
About 15 years ago, I would listen to them during my daily commute to high-school— and they were a mayor source of wisdom and refuge for someone discovering the practice. This habit continued for many, many years.
Nowadays, I am an OI aspirant and frequently notice how familiar I am with some teachings thanks to these talks.
Thank you SO much for your work, and for being there.

Such a beautiful reminder about the impermanence of everything except his words and talks permanently changed the frequencies of our hearts.
dear Kenley, thank you so much for all your works, ten years ago, this site helped me a lot who have to spend 2 hours on the way to work e.v.e.r.y d.a.y. however after quit my job, I did not listen to Thay’s dharma talks that much. so i guess we just don’t know what is good what it bad, or what is the bad in the goodness or the good in the badness? thank you for being there. No matter what happens, you have done the community a great service by providing these talks and transcripts for as long as you have. Thank you. I hope there is a backup hiding somewhere that will manifest itself, especially of the earlier talks from the 1990’s-2000’s.
